The wizard of oz is secular humanist. They do not believe in a god because they discover that the truth lies within themselves. After they went on there long journey to find the wizard they discover that he is just like them, even the wizard knows that he is just a simple human and can only rely on himself to find the truth. They were initially searching for a godlike figure which means that they do not consider themselves to be gods. Which leads us to believe they are secular humanists.
